1/18/2023:  Machine Sewing Projects

Not really a good day in the "recuperating from Covid" journey.  Yesterday I got my hair cut which was 

really needed.  Also the housecleaners came and that was also really needed (three weeks of no cleaning!)

No pictures because, well, no really progress.  I did pull out Everett's quilt and readied some seams for sewing.  

Plan:  

    1) finish the main part of the top of Everett's quilt.

    2) decide what edgings I want to add.  

    3) repair the pillowcase

    4) alter the green tunic dress

    

Knitting Projects January 16, 2023

 Progress made on the baby blanket.

I also got the sleeve seams sewn up on the baby cardigan, and a little bit of crocheting on the Advent throw.  Not enough progress to warrant a picture.

Knitting projects January 10, 2023

 I started and will finish this pretty quickly.  It is a short cotton cardigan for the new Bean.  Here is the link to this project and the pattern.  And here is a picture of it today.  I just need to sew up the sleeve seams and sew in the yarn ends.

General Crafts Projects 2023

 Don't have much of a plan for this category.  Will devise a plan and post on Fridays with updates.

Decorate, Organize, Photography and Paper Projects 2023

 I haven't even really thought about how to post for these projects.  I will come up with a plan and post on Thursdays.

Hand Sewing Projects 2023

 I have so many beautiful projects to cross stitch and embroider, as well as beautiful wool applique projects.  

I plan to get into these patterns and projects today and post every Wednesday.  

Knitting Projects 2023

 I will do most of my posting on my projects page on ravelry.com, but try to post my progress on Mondays.

Currently the two projects I am knitting are:

1) Advent KAL blanket:  I am very close to finishing this.  One more block to knit.  About four more blocks to edge.  The blocking.  The sewing up.  Finish with an outer border.

2)  Maxine sweater for Baby Bean:  About 40% finished.  

Quilting and Sewing Projects 2023

 I have so many unfinished quilt projects, it's embarassing (to me, anyway).  Sewing projects will be added as started.  I haven't sewn for myself or anyone else in quite some time.  I will post on Tuesdays with updates.

For now, I will say I have at least eleven quilt tops that are an average of 50% completed.  

And right now, I will finish my littlest grandson's quilt.  He is a July baby and it seemed so fitting to make the "American Quilter's SAL quilt" for him.

I will take photos and post the next time I work on it.  

New Blog for a New Year

 I'm back but this time to catalog my numerous projects.  Getting organized in the New Year.  I've  been cataloguing my numerous knitting projects.  I "think" I am caught up and if you're a member of Ravelry you can go to my page here, 

On my projects list is a cute and quick little cardigan for Grandbaby #7.  And I am determined to finish the Advent blanket KAL by the end of the month.

Next on the organizing list is my quilts.  Luckily they are much more organized and shouldn't take long at all to update.
